COVID-19 abruptly cancelled the 2019-2020 NBA season. We were on lockdown, so gyms were closed and rims were taken down in the parks to encourage safe, social distancing.

The world as we knew it ceased to exist. So when news broke that the NBA created the bubble, just as rims in local NYC parks returned, I penned a love letter to the game we’d never thought we’d lose. That love letter is titled Thank You Basketball.
