Kawhi Leonard’s actions speak louder than he ever has. So it only made sense for the Los Angeles Clippers to welcome him to the organization with a campaign that spoke volumes about his character.
Enter #KawhiIt, inspired by Kawhi’s dedication to action in his family and community. The campaign launched on February 28, 2020, during a home game at STAPLES Center, where over 18,000 backpacks containing a letter from Kawhi were given to fans. The letter challenged fans to use the backpack to pay it forward and help someone in need.
The resounding message in the end was simple: “Go be great.”
