Few sports stars mirror the laid back atmosphere of the city they play for like former Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker – the point of interest in Sounds of the City episode 3.

This episode introduces an evolution in our SOTC storytelling formula, as we enlisted performing artist Rapsody to pen some lyrics inspired by Kemba’s eight years of play in Charlotte.

The incomparable 9th Wonder provides the production inspired by Charlotte’s Jazz history and the improvisation that makes the genre unpredictable – quite similarly to Kemba’s game on the court.
